Growing up surrounded by a family passionate about motorsport, Codyโs love for engines started early. In 2022, he switched from an electrical pathway to pursue his true passion: mechanics. Since joining RK Diesel, he has thrived in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, enjoying the challenge of diagnostics and the variety of work in the workshop.
His dedication has earned him multiple accolades. He was a finalist at the GTNT Group Awards in 2023 and 2025 for Outstanding Apprentice โ Stage 1 and Stage 3. Alongside seven other GTO apprentices, he is also a finalist at the Master Builders EBC Awards happening on 16 August.
Outside of work, Cody is deeply involved in motorsport. He has served on the Off-Road Racing committee, helped with track maintenance, and taken official duties at events. earning the 2021 Volunteer Rising Star Award and the 2023 Volunteer of the Year Award. More recently, he has become a Speedway commentator and assists behind the scenes to ensure events run smoothly.
