When Joshua Wiles began his Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician in 2023, hosted to Territory Generation in Alice Springs, it was a step he never expected to take, especially as a mature-aged apprentice.
Based at the Owen Springs Power Station, Joshua embraced every challenge and opportunity that’s come his way. He says the experience has been made even better thanks to the ongoing encouragement and understanding from the GTNT Group Alice Springs team, who’ve supported him both professionally and personally through life’s ups and downs.
Joshua describes his apprenticeship as an incredibly rewarding journey, one that’s given him new skills and confidence. He is excited about what’s ahead as he works toward completing his qualification.
