In 2013, Kathryn won the Telstra Business Woman’s Award in Community and Government and is passionate about strengthening and growing the capability and responsiveness of the employment, education and training sectors in ways that improve sustainability and equity outcomes.
 
Kathryn is a Director of the Apprentice Employment Network QLD & NT and also of the National Australian Apprenticeships Association. 

The National Apprentice Employment Network is the peak association representing around 150 Group Training Organisations located throughout Australia. Collectively the network employs around 30,000 apprentices and trainees and works with over 100,000 businesses. Through her involvement with the association and passion to see people achieve, Kathryn has developed strong relationships with organisations throughout Australia enabling GTNT Group to benefit from the economy of scale the network provides with direct links to the Northern Territory and Australian Governments.

In March 2017, Kathryn became a Director of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) Board representing the Northern Territory, assuming the role of Chairperson for the NT ACPET committee.
 
In addition to local and national Boards and Associations Kathryn is engaged with, she is also the Chairman and CEO of the Australian Skills Institute which works in close association with a range of educational institutions in the Philippines providing Australian qualifications through a skills enhancement model. Under Kathryn’s stewardship, the Australian Skills Institute is actively working with the Northern Territory Government to promote and grow vocational education and training in the Philippines and the ASEAN region.

Shaun Stenson

International Engagement and Training Manager   

(Senior Leadership Group)

Shaun's position of International Engagement and Training Manager is responsible for our Registered Training Organisation (GTNT Group Training, RTO Code: 0381) management, both onshore and offshore training and international engagement.

He has 35 years experience in the electrical industry covering three States and Territories. This includes Victoria, Queensland and Northern Territory with exposure working directly with Power and Water. All previous positions included a high level of safety management, with experience in managing 120 employees safety requirements. Shaun has a passion for safety and is driven to continuously improving practices to ensure a safe work environment for all GTNT Group employees.

Shaun holds his Diploma of Frontline Management, Diploma of Project Management, along with his Diploma of Leadership & Management.

Kieran Reekie

Trainer  

Kieran commenced his employment with GTNT Group in November 2019. Prior to commencing with GTNT Group, he worked as a chef/restaurateur for over 26 years, before moving into the education and training sector where he successfully joined the GTNT Group training services team.  

Kieran’s current roll is as a trainer and assessor in Hospitality and Business. He is currently developing a range of things for the company such as; Commercial Cookery for GTNT Group on scop and Delivering and assessing short courses. 

He is responsible for students under the Certifications of; Certificate III in Hospitality, Diploma of Hospitality Management and Certificate III in Business Administration.
